Tai Chi/Qigong Basics

This class is for people new to Tai Chi/Qigong. Using slow, fluid and rounded movements you will learn to integrate the basic principles of Tai Chi and Qigong into specific movement patterns or “gestures”. We will coordinate our gestures with breathing patterns and imagery to create a type of moving meditation. This gentle movement activity is accessible to individuals of all fitness levels, and is taught and practiced both sitting and standing.
This class is presented as a foundation for additional classes offered by this instructor.
