Prerequisite: Zentangle 101 or familiarity with basic Zentangle tools, tangles, and shading techniques.

What is a Monotangle? It is a single tangle used for a simple or complex tile design. Using both Zentangle Original 3.5x3.5 tiles and Bijou 2x2 tiles, we will explore how sizing effects of your design of tangled tiles. A minimum of 25 tangles will be taught during this course.

Students can also begin to create their own visual library of their favorite tangles! As each Bijou tile is completed, you can display your beautiful tiles in the standup, flip photo album that is included with the Materials Kit. Material Kits can be picked up at the Damariscotta CLC-AE Office prior to class start date.

As a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT), Martha Brooks finds great joy in sharing Zentangle with others! She is a retired Speech Pathologist who loves when people gather, the beauty found in the natural world around us, and rescuing greyhounds. She has found great contentment as she settles into life on the midcoast of Maine!
