Sharpening Woodworking Tools (Monday)
with Rick Gallion
only 5 seats left
The first thing to learn about woodworking is sharpening the tools you will be using. In this course you will learn to sharpen bench chisels, plane irons, card scrapers, cabinet scrapers and marking knives. We will be using a grinder, a burnisher and water stones to put a razor edge on your tools. Bring in your grandad’s old plane or chisel or a new tool. They will all need sharpening.
Instructor Rick Gallion has been a professional woodworker for thirty years and has taught many students the craft of woodworking. His new shop is designed as a teaching facility. All classes will be held at the Clary Lake Woodworking School at 777 Gardiner Road (Hwy 126), Jefferson. Class size is limited. Safety glasses provided for each class.
