Learn the art of bookbinding with three projects that build basic skills and creative experience. Paste papering is a lot like adult finger painting, and uses different types of pigments and mark making tools to create all the decorative papers needed for the other five binding classes (including the next intermediate session). At the end of the first class, we will go over what tools should be collected for the rest of the classes. With your paste paper complete, practice making Pocket books and two Pamphlet books, including designing and decorating covers with cut-outs, collage and additional stitching. $10 material fee included in the cost of the course.
