Tai Chi for Balance Enhancement (Monday)

$69

with Mary Anne Moisan

Calendar Sep 25, 2017 at 4 pm, runs for 6 weeks

The term Tai Chi, translated from its original Chinese, means “Supreme Ultimate Balance”. So what better activity could there be to enhance your physical balance skills?

In this introductory class, you will learn to integrate the basic principles of Tai Chi – posture, breathing, slow movements and focused intentions – into specific movement patterns or “gestures”. Starting seated in a chair and moving to standing, we will begin to build a repertoire of movement patterns, all with an emphasis on enhancing balance skills.

Mary Anne Moisan is a Physical Therapist and Balance Enhancement Specialist. She currently works for Miles and St. Andrew’s Home Health and Hospice and is excited to include Tai Chi in her professional resume.
